The Reference Data Transform provides local & standard configuration used for setting up the system. In addition, the data mart also provides all forms of descriptions covering the local and national codes and descriptions. Pre-built functions to derive the descriptions are available as part of the transform. The reference data mart is one of the base data marts which is required by all other data marts.

The Reference Data Transform provides users with both local & standard configuration of their Cerner build. It covers all forms of descriptions covering the local and national codes alongside the Cerner configured descriptions. The use of pre-built functions which are provided as part of this data transform allow users to derive the descriptions ,national codes, SNOMED codes for any given Cerner code value

In addition to the standard reference tables such as code_value and location this transform provides encounter based reference tables such as encounters and the visit number they are associated with.

Working with trusts further reference tables have been added such as a location hierarchy reference table allowing users to join to any field in the table and ascertain their parent location.

The Emergency Department Transform provides several admin and clinical patient tracking fields to support operational and reporting requirements. It is a single data repository which supports top-level dashboard views of current performance down to patient lists for Data Validators. The functionality covers:

1. 4 hour waiting times.
2. Waits after Decision To Admit.
3. Breach monitoring.
4. In-department measures such as Wait for Specialist.

The Emergency Department Data Transform have been developed not just to accurately provide data but also with performance as one of its key requirements to meet the reporting demand of the continually changing data in ED. AS such the ED data mart can provides information as near real time as is possible for data to flow from millennium source tables to the trust local database.

Included within the ED Transform as operational feeds such as ED Escalation which is used to satisfy the OPEL requirements at trusts. This was built using a collaborative approach with an existing trust specialist.

In addition working with trusts the data mart handles data where multiple trusts are on the same domain by filtering out activity which is not related to the trust.

Currently Nautilus is in the process of upgrading the ED data Transform to include the additional fields required for ECDS 6.2.3

The COVID Data Transform was stood up relatively quickly during the start of the pandemic and continues to be a continually evolving data mart. The initial data mart initially covered order and results specifically around COVID but has now grown to include staff testing and allow configured events (e.g. oxygenation) for COVID patients to be tracked and reported, provide details of any problems that patient might have and allow trusts to link to any local data sources to enable the results to be further investigated. Nautilus works with information teams to understand the events that are required for tracking and perform the configuration. If new events are required these can be added within minutes and will appear in the table as soon as they have been configured.

The Powerforms transform is a single table transform which holds all data entered via Millennium powerforms. Alongside this transform is a configurable process which allows users to extract the data into individual powerform specific tables on a net change basis, e.g. Adult Assessment form LC1, VTE Risk Assessment Form. If a form changes users are alerted have the ability to recreate the data on the next scheduled run or to create a new table.

The powerform handles the various grids available within Cerner to ensure that all data points on a powerform are available for reporting. The Powerform data transform has enabled trusts to quickly turn around information requests by users within minutes compared to hours or days.

The Clinicals transform provides users with an overarching view of problems, allergies, reactions, procedures, and diagnoses carried out for a patient. Whereas the problem and allergies are at a patient level, the procedures and diagnoses can be linked across other transforms at an encounter level to provide all procedures\diagnoses for an encounter.

Covers the basic demographics such as gender, date of birth and a number of history tables that include address, GP/ GP Practice, name, phone, next-of-kin etc. It includes descriptions covering the local and national codes. The transform also covers details of trust personnel.

The Referral to Treatment transform provides a complete RTT history that includes admin, scheduling, and clinical events. RTT breaches, stops & starts, pause days and validator comments can be easily derived using the tables in this transform. PTL to support RTT Validators can be generated using the tables in the transform and applying local rules.

The Inpatient Data transform provides details of inpatient activity covering spells, episodes, consultant slices, ward stays, transfer history, discharge details, patient/ personnel relationship. The transform also provides a view on bed status (available, occupied, dirty, cleaning, infection etc).

The Outpatient Data transform provides details of future appointments, outpatient attendances, cancellations (with reasons for cancellation e.g., patient or hospital initiated), DNAs. eRS bookings and scheduling attributes are also covered as part of this transform.

The Mart provides details of inpatient, day case and outpatient waiting lists covering waiting list events from the point of referral booking to scheduling. The transform acts as a useful bridge between the old-fashioned waiting lists and the referral-to-treatment way of managing services.

The Clinical Documentation transform provides data entered in Millennium that relates to patient care plans. Typically, care plan data is not stored in relational data structure (e.g., JSON) but is converted into a relational structure to support the use of data for operational, clinical, and analytical requirements.

This Mart focuses on the pregnancy details of a patient and child such as complications, anaesthesia, and labour. It also contains a configurable events tracking table which can be used to aid maternity pregnancy reporting. Data content includes Pregnancy Start and End Dates, Outcome, Pregnancy events, Gestation details.

The Results transform covers both lab and radiology results entered in Millennium. Decryption of blob contents is achieved by specific Nautilus functionality.

The ED Escalations transform provides key numbers along with the OPEL RAG status.

The Bed status transform is a single table feed providing the current status of all beds in the trust.

This contains data for both orders and electronic medication prescribing/administration. The data set covers orders, medications, medications administration, alerts.

The Theatre Utilization transform covers various aspects of theatre utilization such as timings, sessions, attendees, and cancellations. The purpose of this data set is to expose a defined data set that can be used to create dashboard level reporting.

The Care Pathways transform provides details of care pathway activity covering orders, events, actions, and comments. This Mart also splits out the JSON comment in long_text into a tabular format for easier reporting.
